Abstract

|
A case of chronic lymphocytic leukemia(CLL) and a case of poorly differentiated
lymphocytic lymphoma resulting in a CLL-like syndrome were presented with a brief
review of literature. The term lymphosarcoma cell leukemia referred to the development
of blood involvement by poorly differentiated lymphocytic lymphoma. The distinction of
these two disease entities was often difficult on clinical & morphological grounds and a
differential point useful in the diagnosis was reviewed. The histologic findings of lymph
node biopsy, cellular morphologic chracteristics, and immunologic features such as
surface membrane immunoglobulin fluoregcence, capping phenomenon and mouse
erythrocyte rosetting were helpful.
